ChampionX has an immediate need for a Shot Blaster - working 4 day -10hr shift Monday- Thursday, Nights, at Harbison-Fischer located in Crowley, TX. This is your opportunity to join a growing company offering a competitive base salary and benefits

Position Details:

  • 4 day -10hr shift Monday - Thursday, Nights

What You Will Do:

  • Operation of specified equipment for the roughing of plungers or polish rods in preparation for spraying
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 or more years of relevant experience
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Commitment to work overtime as needed
  • Maintain appropriate levels of daily attendance, initiative and productivity
  • Ability to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals and procedure manuals
  • Ability to perform simple shop math, convert decimals to fractional equivalents, and fractions to decimal equivalents
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures and angle gauges

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the oil and gas industry preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for a minimum of 10 hours/day
  • Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to pick, feel, and/or inspect material. The employee will also reach with arms and hands as needed.
