The Talent Acquisition Business Partner at our organization is an integral role responsible for overseeing the recruitment process from start to finish, fostering relationships with hiring managers, and developing innovative strategies to attract, source, and retain top-tier talent. This role involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders to understand hiring needs, designing and implementing recruitment plans, conducting interviews, evaluating candidates, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. Leveraging data, you'll enhance recruitment delivery, foresee challenges, and present qualified candidates that align with Hiring Manager expectations. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening the company's brand while ensuring a positive and enriching experience for all candidates interacting with Anderson.

What would you do in this role?

Supervision

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner will work independently and report directly to the Talent Acquisition Department Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing Candidates

- Utilize diverse recruitment channels to identify potential candidates.

- Proactively engage with passive candidates and maintain a candidate pipeline.

- Attend networking and hiring events.

Screening, Interviewing, and Assessment

- Review resumes and conduct preliminary phone screenings and digital assessments.

- Coordinate and facilitate interviews with hiring teams.

- Schedule and prepare for interviews, ensuring a seamless process.

- Maintain positive candidate relationships and provide timely updates.

- Assess skills, qualifications, and cultural fit to recommend the best candidates or positions.

Process Candidate

- Complete all pre-employment activities including background checks, drug tests, and pre-screening assessments

- Monitor progress and update all necessary parties

- Ensure legal compliance of local, state, and federal laws by monitoring and maintaining records as required

- Document information into our systems for tracking, trending, dispositioning, and monitoring candidates

Collaboration with Hiring Managers

- Guide hiring managers through the recruitment process.

- Consult with hiring managers on staffing needs and best practices.

- Extend job offers, negotiate terms, and manage pre-employment checks.

Onboard New hires

- Facilitate the onboarding process.

- Collaborate with the Training Team and assist as needed.

- Conduct office tour and new hire set-up

Employer Branding and Strategy

- Contribute to the employer branding strategy and create compelling job postings.

- Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain accurate candidate records.

- Collaborate with Marketing Team to create and post advertising for open positions.

Reporting and Analytics

- Track recruitment data and provide regular reports to HR and management.

Additional Priorities

- Assist the front desk receptionist as needed.

- Demonstrate initiative in problem-solving and change implementation.

- Manage multiple projects effectively within set deadlines.

- Work independently in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and attention to detail.

- Recognize and address potential issues efficiently.

- Maintain a high level of strict confidentiality.

- Process associate transfers of internal associates.

- Serve as a point person for associate questions.

- Other special projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in HR or Business Administration is required.

  • 4+ years Talent Acquisition experience, must have experience in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and selecting candidates.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, ever-changing environment that demands flexibility and creativity.

  • Must demonstrate proficiency in internet navigation and web-based programs, including the Microsoft suite of products.

  • Experience in Workday and Phenom People a plus.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills with high level of attention to detail that can meet deadlines effectively.

  • Must be able to travel for conferences, on the ground sourcing, and hiring events.

  • Self-starter who can work independently and takes pride in their work.

  • The ability to demonstrate discretion, integrity, and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies, and procedures.

  • A great sense of humor and a positive "can do" attitude.
