Garver's Field Services Business Line is hiring for the newly created position of Senior Marketing Coordinator. The position will work alongside construction and survey team leaders and in-house communications experts to from initial identification of a strategic key pursuit, through pipelining, until RFQ release to establish Garver as the firm of choice. This marketing leadership role will be critical to the success of winning work and growing the business line.
The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of team camaraderie, the ability to write, organize, create, prioritize, and manage multiple projects. A strong sense of timing and ability to prioritize will be key to success. Technical proficiency in InDesign is necessary.
This position will report to our Field Services Director and work closely with our construction and survey project leaders and internal communications specialists.
Core responsibilities:
  • Research markets and competitors.
  • Manage the end-to-end proposal/interview process.
  • Coordinate and organize large amounts of technical information, including photography, external subconsultant data, and marketing materials including brochures, posters, project award entries, etc.
  • Maintain library of images, project descriptions, and case studies.
  • Develop presentations and marketing materials.
  • Improve team utilization of our CRM and track touch points.
  • Coordinate conference, community, and client events and attendance.
  • Mentor and oversee a small team responsible for marketing deliverables.
  • Be a brand ambassador and uphold the Garver brand.
  • Collaborate with Garver's internal Communication Teams on strategic pursuits and social media campaigns.
  • Develop client presentations.

Basic Requirements:
  • Previous proposal experience
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign)
  • Ability to travel when needed
  • Bachelor's degree(Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field)
  • Previous experience in proposal preparation or large-document management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Creative and artistic mindset
  • 6+ years of related experience
  • Prior experience in market analysis and business planning
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the year for project interviews, conferences, society events, etc.
Preferred Skills:
  • Previous experience in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) industry
  • Ability to think through methods and opportunities to communicate with a client as part of the pursuit capture process
  • Previous experience or working knowledge of the proposal preparation or large-document management process
  • Previous experience in customer relationship management (CRM) database management, Deltek Vision (or similar)
  • Ability to develop deep relationships to guide and position project leaders in the Field Services group
