GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Accounting Assistant Manager is responsible to manage all aspects of the financial and cash office operations at Crayola Experience. This individual will also have cross functional management responsibilities in certain situations.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage cash control and accounting functions for CE.
  • Responsible for the personnel management of the cash control office including hiring, scheduling, performance, and termination process
  • Develops and follows strict company guidelines for cash control and accounting.
  • Develops and manages implementation of critical CE operational systems and procedures.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for effective implementation of critical IT, cash control and Finance processes in support of corporate finance objectives.
  • Manage coordination and communication between CE and corporate based finance personnel.
  • Manage and track SG&A budgets for the facility with the input from other CE managers on their select areas of responsibility.
  • Provide detailed analysis of financial and other information, as directed.
  • Execute analysis and reporting back to corporate finance.
  • Support and assist with ordering all necessary supplies and materials for TCE and TCS.
  • Train all new hires for cash office in proper procedures and policies.
  • Manage processing of all CE invoices in the SAP System to ensure budget control and enable budget analysis.
  • Participate in the MOD schedule and provide input into other operational areas

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and a minimum of 1 year business experience in a Finance or Accounting role Or a minimum of 4 years of business experience in a Financial or Accounting role (Banking, Cash Office Management, Managing Facility Budgets/Financial Analysis, Accounts Receivable/Payable, or Accounting)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize work requirements
  • Demonstrated strong ability to collaborate and support internal and external partner goals, public needs, and corporate marketing.
  • Expected to work assigned weekends and holidays,
  • Attend and assist at evening programs and special events at CE and in the community.
  • Minimal travel to attend regional meetings and/or visit retail operations and other attractions.
